The Challenge: A leading OEM manufacturer of earth-moving excavators faced warranty claims due to bolted joints loosening under extreme dynamic vibration and shock loads during mining operations.
Our Solution: We completely redesigned their fastening bill of materials, replacing standard nuts with our specialized All-Metal Lock Nuts (Stover Type) paired with High-Strength Hex Bolts (Class 10.9). We also supplied DIN 929 Hex Weld Nuts for secure sheet metal frame attachment, coated with Geomet for superior anti-corrosion.
